Life rarely encourages us to slow down on its own. As the seasons begin to change and life settles into a new rhythm after the summer months, join us for a day designed to step away from the everyday, reconnect with yourself and rediscover the simple pleasure of taking your time.
Set in the peaceful surroundings of Ash Farm, this thoughtfully curated retreat brings together gentle movement, mindfulness, nourishing food, creativity and deep relaxation. Every element has been chosen with intention, creating space to breathe, reflect and simply be.
Whether you come on your own or with a friend, we hope you’ll leave feeling lighter, calmer and inspired to carry a little of that slower pace into everyday life.

The Day
8:45am – 9:30am | Arrival & Welcome
Ease into the morning with tea, coffee, herbal teas, fresh seasonal fruit and optional mini yoghurt pots. Take your time to settle in, enjoy the surroundings and prepare for the day ahead.
9:30am – 11:00am | Standing & Mat Pilates with Janet Taylor
Including Pilates, Pure Stretch Flow and Self-Myofascial Release using Trigger Point Balls.
Suitable for mixed abilities, this welcoming session combines mindful movement, breath, posture and gentle stretching before finishing with self-myofascial release to help ease tension and prepare both body and mind for the day ahead.
11:00am – 12:00pm | Live Food Demonstration & Tastings
Join Sian for a relaxed demonstration featuring simple, nourishing recipes and practical ideas that are easy to recreate at home. Enjoy plenty of opportunities to taste, ask questions and discover delicious ways to make everyday cooking feel uncomplicated.
12:00pm – 1:00pm | Mindfulness in Nature with Hilary
Slow the pace and reconnect with the present moment through a guided mindfulness experience. Weather permitting, you’ll spend time outdoors noticing the sights, sounds and textures of the natural world while incorporating gentle breathwork and grounding techniques. If the weather isn’t kind, the experience will be thoughtfully adapted indoors.
1:00pm – 2:00pm | Homemade Seasonal Buffet Lunch
Relax over a leisurely homemade buffet lunch prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients and enjoy the opportunity to chat, connect and savour the moment.
2:00pm – 3:00pm | Mindful Creativity
Take time to slow down through a simple and relaxing creative activity designed to be enjoyed by everyone.
Decorate a small pebble with a meaningful word, symbol or design to create a personal keepsake from the day. With no artistic experience required, it’s simply an opportunity to be present, enjoy the process and leave with a gentle reminder to carry the slower pace of the day into everyday life.
3:00pm – 4:15pm | Restorative Yoga, Yin & Guided Relaxation with Jo Rees
A deeply calming practice combining restorative movement, yin yoga and guided relaxation to encourage stillness and gently prepare you for the final experience of the day.
4:15pm – 5:30pm | Gong Sound Bath with Geraint
Without needing to move from your mat, drift into an immersive gong sound bath where soothing vibrations create space for deep rest and quiet reflection. Feel free to bring cosy layers, blankets or an eye mask to help you settle in comfortably.
The retreat concludes at approximately 5:30pm, with guests warmly invited to enjoy a final herbal tea and light homemade treat before heading home.

NOTES ON GONGS (With Geraint):
Photography
Should you prefer not to be included in photos, kindly inform us in advance of the workshop, and we will ensure you’re seated in a spot outside the camera’s view.
Special Considerations and Contraindications:
Please note the following and consult your doctor should you have any concerns:
Contraindications : Gong Sound Baths are not recommended with the following:
- Pacemaker or metal implants
- During the first or last trimester of pregnancy
- Serious mental health issues such as schizophrenia or psychosis
Special Considerations: Gong Sound Baths may not be suitable for some prone to the following:
- Fits or seizures (including epilepsy)
- Sensitive to sound, like Tinnitus
- If you wear a hearing aid, your device should be turned off during the session
Not suitable for young children 14 and under. 15 and 16 year olds must be accompanied by their guardian.
PLEASE NOTE: BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Thank-you for booking on to the Gong Sound Bath session. If in the unfortunate event you are unable to attend it will be your responsibility to find a replacement as spaces cannot be carried forward. We are sure you appreciate being a small business any cancellations have a big impact on pre booked events.
