With a little help from our friends…

Time flies when you’re having fun and there’s been a lot of fun at Ash Farm in the weeks since our last newsletter.
Yet more alpacas have joined our lovely herd with our newest arrivals making 30! We are looking forward to incorporating their lovely fleeces into next year’s yarns.

Our latest yarns have been put to work on the knitting machines, inspiring new garment designs and cosy accessories. We had a wonderful time introducing the new sweaters to alpaca enthusiasts from all over Wales at the inaugural Welsh Alpaca Show in Carmarthen.

Summer Open Studio for 2019

It’s all hands on deck at Ash Farm as final preparations are underway for the first Summer Open Studio this weekend. A fantastic selection of makers from across Wales will be showcasing a wide array of creative and beautiful items to tempt you and Sian will be selling her stunning range of knitwear, accessories and items for the home – including some new alpaca designs that are currently exclusive to this event.

Celebrating Spring!

It’s that wonderful time of year again. The light has returned bringing increased energy to our longer days, the spring flowers are out in force (it’s been a fabulous year for primroses and bluebells in Pembrokeshire this year) and the promise of summer is on the horizon for those who like it hot. In the meantime, it is also the time of year when you never know what to wear! Basking in the sun in a t-shirt one minute, shivering in the rain the next… layers are the answer! Have a look at some of Sian’s fabulous new ponchos and wraps and have one folded in a bag, ready to whip out at a moment’s notice to keep off that sudden springtime chill.
