Textile designer

Sian O’Doherty is an award-winning textile artist and designer creating beautiful and unique knitted fabrics for garments, accessories and interior styling. Her textile designs reflect the rich cultural heritage of Wales as well as the spectacular and varied landscapes that surround her smallholding in Pembrokeshire, where she lives with her husband and daughter, and an assorted crew of animals from cats to alpacas.

Her fabrics are used to create special accessories, garments and home items that become signature pieces for happy customers across the United Kingdom.

Pebble snood

I now have 3 of Sian’s snoods and each one is a work of art. Each time I wear them people comment how beautiful they are and they are also supremely cosy. My newest is the petrol blue/orange pebble snood and it is gorgeous. Thank you so much Sian, I LOVE IT!

I first discovered Sian’s work at a craft festival a few months back in Cardiff where I purchased one of her pebble infinity scarfs that I absolutely fell in love with. More recently I bought a pair of her wrist warmers, which arrived today, and again are absolutely perfect. I love the style of Sian’s work which I find very unusual but also not too in your face, so it’s easy to pair anything she makes with any outfit! Sian sent me progress photos as she was making my gloves which I really appreciated and this added a very personal touch. Will definitely be buying more of her beautiful things in the future! Highly recommended X

Hi Sian I just wanted to let you know how thrilled I was to receive your beautiful travel wrap in the mail a few weeks ago. It was a complete surprise as it was a gift from my sister Eleri. As I unwrapped it I fell in love with the colour, laver, and only realized the versatility of the piece as I tried it on. It is so soft and cosy and drapes beautifully. I’ve already worn it with my jeans and boots instead of a jacket and with a dress to a formal function. It’s my new favourite piece, I love it. Thankyou!
