Begin the new year feeling grounded, energised, and inspired. This intimate day retreat blends uplifting movement, mindful stillness, nourishing food, and the joy of hands-on creativity. With small group sizes (max 9 participants), you’ll enjoy a deeply personal experience designed to refresh body, mind, and spirit.
The Day
8:45 am — Arrival & Immune Booster
Arrive to the peaceful surroundings of Ash Farm and settle in with a warming immune-boosting drink to gently awaken your senses.
9:00 – 10:30 am — Movement with Katherine: Pilates + LBT
Begin with an hour of Pilates to stabilise, mobilise, and activate deep supporting muscles, improving alignment and easing into the day.
With the body warm and centred, transition into a 30-minute LBT session to build strength and heat through low-impact, accessible movements. A balanced, revitalising start suitable for all levels.
10:30 – 11:30 am —Nourish & Create: Build-Your-Own Lunch Jar
A relaxed, hands-on food demo where you’ll learn how to prepare a balanced, flavour-packed lunch jar to enjoy the next day. We’ll explore a simple, delicious dressing and layer it with fresh, vibrant ingredients for a nourishing meal on the go.
This interactive session is designed to inspire confident, mindful eating — showing you how easy it can be to build a wholesome, beautiful lunch in minutes.
11:30 am – 1:00 pm — Yoga & Mindfulness with Hilary
Slow down and soften into a grounding session with Hilary Westlake.
Move through a calming yoga practice designed to unwind the body, followed by a peaceful 30-minute mindfulness session to cultivate presence, clarity, and inner ease – the perfect way to engage and relax before lunch.
1:00 – 2:00 pm — Seasonal Buffet Lunch
Savour a beautiful plant-based lunch prepared by the Ash Farm kitchen.
A vibrant spread of mixed salads, homemade crackers, hummus varieties, olives, seasonal vegetables, marinated tofu, and wholesome sides — all served in a relaxed, communal style. Take your time and nourish yourself fully.
2:00 – 2:30 pm — Digestive Mindful Walk
Enjoy a gentle stroll along Ivy Chimney Lane, allowing the body to digest and the mind to settle. Mindful prompt cards are available for inspiration if you’d like them. Walk quietly or chat naturally — simply follow what feels good.
2:30 – 4:30 pm —
Pebble Art Workshop: Relax, Create, Meditate
Unwind and tap into your creativity with a calming Pebble Art session. Over two hours, you’ll explore your own designs, experimenting with shapes, patterns, and colours on smooth pebbles as you let your thoughts unwind.
All materials — pens, paints, and inspiration ideas — are provided, so you can simply relax and enjoy the process. This workshop is a mindful, meditative activity, helping you slow down, focus, and express yourself in a playful, stress-free way.
By the end of the session, you’ll have your very own pebble creation to take home — a tangible reminder of your peaceful, restorative retreat experience.
4:30 pm — Closing Tea & Farewell
Return to the café for a grounding herbal tea and a small sweet treat. Leave feeling restored, inspired, and proud of the piece you created — ready to step into the new year with clarity and creativity.
