Florence –
I recently had the pleasure of attending a knicker workshop at ash farm. The tutor Emily was patient and so helpful she provided us with lots of detail so that it was easy to understand each step of the process.
She provided beautiful materials so I was able to make exactly what I wanted. I loved her designs and I am now the proud owner of my own handmade knickers! Very happy.
Thank you!

Such a fab workshop – I learnt so many transferable skills and had so much fun along the way! Great fabrics and choices of elastic, beautiful location at the farm, and Emily’s teaching is wonderful.

What a great day! So much fun and came away with a really comfortable pair of pants!! The fabric Emily provided is so soft and a full range of beautiful laces to choose from to provide contrast and finish them beautifully. Emily taught us so well and provided us with the pattern to take home so I’m all prepared to make some more!! Thank you Emily.

This was astonishing! Emily was so thorough and engaging in the way she explained everything and demonstrated the techniques. I highly recommend this to anyone who like me who has a machine and wants to learn new skills to be able to use it more often. By the end of the day, not only did I have a pair of handmade pants, but I had new skills and a sense of renewed enthusiasm transferred from Emily’s passion! I would definitely do this again!

I had such a great day at Emily’s workshop! We enjoyed a beautiful creative space, with a friendly atmosphere and warm encouraging environment. I have used sewing machines before for one-off projects, but Emily’s thorough explanation of each stage ensured that everyone knew what they were doing. It was very fun and we learnt a lot about different types of lace and how to use them, thanks to Emily’s extensive knowledge. The lunch served by Sian was delicious. You’ll never buy knickers again!
