Join Us for a Restorative Yin Yoga Class at Ash Farm with Jo Rees

Take time to nurture your body, mind, and energy in our restorative Yin Yoga class every Wednesday evening at 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

Yin yoga is a slow-paced practice where poses are held for extended periods—usually between 2 to 5 minutes in Jo’s classes—allowing the body to deeply relax. This practice follows the principles of traditional Chinese medicine, aiming to nourish the body, prevent injury, and support longevity.

Benefits of Yin Yoga include:

Each class concludes with a calming meditation to further enhance relaxation, following a movement-based meditation within the yin poses. This helps promote better sleep and leaves you feeling deeply rested.

Health Questionnaires
A completed Health Questionnaire is required prior to your first session. Additionally, it is your responsibility to update the questionnaire if there are any changes to your health, contact details (including address and phone number), or emergency contact information. This is essential for your safety and well-being during the sessions.
 
Block Booking Resale
If you book a block of exercise sessions and can’t attend a class, you may sell your session(s) to someone else, but please make sure to get approval from the instructor beforehand. Ash Farm is not involved in the process of reselling sessions for block bookings, especially when block sessions are at a reduced rate of £10 a session. (Note: This may vary depending on the type of class – for example, some classes may not support reselling sessions i.e Tai Chi.)

One-Off Sessions
If a block doesn’t fill up, individual sessions will be advertised to book at a rate of £15 per session on the website, only available once the block has started. However priority is always first given to block bookings.

Class Swaps
Unfortunately, participants on block bookings cannot swap into other exercise classes as credit for missed sessions.

Missed Sessions
Missed sessions cannot be refunded once a block begins.

Drop-In Availability and Priority
Priority is given to participants who have booked a block. Drop-ins, priced at £15 per session, will only be accepted if there is space available in the class (i.e., the block is not at full capacity- 9 participants). If there are available spaces, one-off sessions will be advertised on the website and can be purchased directly there.

Block Booking Cancellation
Block bookings are non-refundable once the first session has been attended.

Block Bookings through the Website
All block bookings must be made through the website. We’re working on making the booking process easier, so you’ll soon be able to book directly without needing to use PayPal – more details to follow!
