September never loses that “back-to-school” feeling for many of us, and this year that seasonal shift has been accentuated for us grown-ups as we gradually move back into more “normal” patterns of living after such a long period of pausing and adjusting to the strange, uneasy days of the last eighteen months.

Celebrating Spring!
It’s that wonderful time of year again. The light has returned bringing increased energy to our longer days, the spring flowers are out in force (it’s been a fabulous year for primroses and bluebells in Pembrokeshire this year) and the promise of summer is on the horizon for those who like it hot. In the meantime, it is also the time of year when you never know what to wear! Basking in the sun in a t-shirt one minute, shivering in the rain the next… layers are the answer! Have a look at some of Sian’s fabulous new ponchos and wraps and have one folded in a bag, ready to whip out at a moment’s notice to keep off that sudden springtime chill.

One of the greatest joys of 2018 was getting to meet so many new customers and friends who have signed up for this newsletter, so the new year seems a good time to build on those introductions and get to know each other a little better. It’s all been happening in 2018!
A big thank you to everyone who braved the wild weather to make last weekend’s Open Studio event at Ash Farm such a great success! It was a really fun way to inaugurate the new workshop studio that was completed just this month, and wonderful to see familiar faces and meet new friends enjoying festive shopping and good company.
