Join us at Ash Farm for this unique and carefully curated event where the focus is on calming the mind, letting go of tension and learning how you can support your body to manage stress.
We will start the day with a 1 hour session of Hatha Yoga with Jo Rees, followed by a light homemade breakfast in the cafe to nourish the mind and body. Guided meditation with Hilary Westlake will follow before returning to the cafe for an in depth talk with health coach and nutritionist Ellen Picton on how the right diet can help manage stress.
A delicious homemade ASH farm superfood salad will follow with the event concluding in a cookery demonstration with Ellen Picton on how you can make simple dietary swaps at home that will aid managing stress. This demonstration will include a pudding that you can enjoy as well as learning how to recreate at a later date in your own home !

8.45 am – Arrive for welcome Homemade immune boosting drink in the cafe
9am – 10am Yoga with Jo Rees in the studio
10am – 10.30am Homemade Light Breakfast and drink of choice
10.35- 11.20 – Meditation with Hilary Westlake in studio
11.30 – 1pm Talk with Ellen Picton of Healthaspire in cafe /
1pm – 1.30pm – Homemade quinoa salad bowl plus hot drink of choice
1.45 – 2.15pm – Food demonstration with Ellen Picton and Dessert

Hatha Yoga with Jo Rees
This opening Hatha Yoga practice, which will provide the perfect start with some pranayama, using breath to still our busy minds and calm our bodies. Tapping into the flow of our breathing, we will then follow a sequence of whole body movements designed to stretch, energise and refresh. Finally we will come back to stillness in savasana using deep relaxation to absorb all the benefits of our practice.
Meditation with Hilary Westlake
This meditation is ideal for beginners to experienced meditators. It’s a chance to practise being still and taking some time out to nourish the mind, body and energy systems. We will use breathing exercises, mindfulness techniques and crystals to support us to access some magical peacfulness within ourselves.
Talk and Demonstration with Ellen Picton
Stress can affect the body in various ways, such as digestive issues, problems with sleeping, a weakened immune system along with an impact on mental health. Join nutritionist and health coach Ellen Picton to understand food triggers for stress, learn about calming foods and supplements to help balance cortisol. Enjoy a cookery demo to give you ideas of simple swaps you can make at home. Lots of tasters and handouts included.
